As a self confessed plant a holic, the garden is my happy place. It glues me together in a way that little else does. Each year the vegetable garden is bursting with produce and the flowers beds are jam packed with blooms for picking.
I am often asked how do I deal with aphids and green fly and other unwelcome garden critters. My answer is simple: the healthier you keep your garden the less spray you will need. When plants are well nourished, well watered and planted in harmony you will have few pest problems, but when pest problems do occur, I always have Beat a Bug on hand. It is in my top 5 of garden essentials.
I use it partly because I am lazy and it’s ready to use but mainly because it works instantly and is made from natural ingredients, chilli, garlic and pyrethrum. So I can eat the produce even after it’s been sprayed. It’s the fly spray alternative to flies for the garden.
I leave a bottle under the seat in the vege patch and one inside, and when I spot something munching on my crops I can deal with the problem instantly.
